You are invited to join

Club 52!

Members of Club 52 give one dollar a week to support youth missions.  (Club 52 Membership includes Flamingo Removal Insurance.  Remember, we cannot control where these pesky birds land, but removal is free for Club 52 Members.)

We have several youth and one chaperon who have signed up to go to Mountain T.O.P. this summer. Your membership in Club 52 is a powerful investment in the future of our church.

Thank you for supporting our mission projects.

Are you looking for a new career?  Probably not.  Are you looking for a new way to serve the least of these?  Probably so.

Please join us for our last Room in the Inn for the season.  Come and see what innkeepers do.  We would love to have a cadre of innkeepers trained for Room in the Inn next year.  Do you have a couple of hours to come visit and see what we do?  Come to Andrew Price UMC any time after 5:30 Friday night, March 26.  Bring your children or your friends.  Bring anyone who would like to see what happens when you offer hospitality to those most precious to our Lord.  You will be amazed.  You might not find a new career, but the benefits are out of this world!

Come help Hickory Bend make Room In The Inn!  We have a few more Room In The Inn events this season.

Come help us make beds, serve supper, pass out lingerie, or play games.

We need to train a few more innkeepers.  Have you considered spending the night with us?  We would like to expand our ministry to an additional week next season.  In order to do this we need a few more innkeepers.  Your primary responsibilities are to . . . well . . . to sleep!  Could you spend one night with our homeless guests?  If Hickory Bend could train a few more inkeepers, we could double the blessings.  If you have any questions about the responsibilities of an inkeeper, call Judy at 615-754-4482, or Emalie at 615-403-8455.

Only two more nights this season:

You can’t watch the Super Bowl Hungry!

Let the UMYF provide you with a hearty meal so that you can enjoy every moment of this once in a lifetime (or 44th in a lifetime) event!  Have the party chefs at UMYF make your lunch for you.  Join us in the fellowship hall for pregame celebration, or take your food to go.  Either way, you will enjoy the game so much more, if you don’t have to stop to satisfy your hunger.

All the proceeds go toward youth missions.  (Don’t you want to get rid of us for a week this summer?)

Perfect timing!  This year, Hickory Bend is making Room In The Inn on Christmas Day!  How exciting that we can actually be with our guests on the night we celebrate the birth of our Lord!  Jesus was born in a stable because there was no room in the inn.  On Christmas night, we will welcome our guests with food, clean linens, and a safe place to spend the night.  We will also be able to take the love and care of Hickory Bend to our homeless guests.  We are so pleased to be a part of this wonderful ministry with Andrew Price Memorial UMC and approximately 150 other churches in the Nashville area. more…
