Oh, the weather outside was frightful!   Could we “Go the Distance”?  Going the Distance was the theme our youth renewal weekend.  Originally that theme was supposed to reflect the Olympics.  Going the distance became much more about the trip to Murfreesboro and home again. This year, at District Leadership Training, our youth met with other youth groups to learn and grow, and to meet new friends. We were invited to share the stories of our youth group, our mission trips, our mini missions, our potato bars, and our Sunday night meetings. Warmth in Winter is a ” youth renewal weekend” that takes place during January 29-31. The band Pocket Full of Rocks will appear!!! the speaker will be Rev. Brenda Salter McNeil!!!
