Perfect timing! This year, Hickory Bend is making Room In The Inn on Christmas Day! How exciting that we can actually be with our guests on the night we celebrate the birth of our Lord! Jesus was born in a stable because there was no room in the inn. On Christmas night, we will welcome our guests with food, clean linens, and a safe place to spend the night. We will also be able to take the love and care of Hickory Bend to our homeless guests. We are so pleased to be a part of this wonderful ministry with Andrew Price Memorial UMC and approximately 150 other churches in the Nashville area. more…

For years, Lilli Parker has led carolers to Cloverbottom to deliver gifts from Hickory Bend members to the residents of Cloverbottom. Now, this is one cherished Hickory Bend tradition that sadly, must end. Cloverbottom Developmental Center, long scheduled to close, is at last, and in fact, closing its doors for the last time. more…
